Geoculture is an original digital project involving culture and tourism. It is an invitation to discover Limousin through the eyes of various artists.

Hiking lovers from all over Europe participate in this yearly hiking event. 2012 is l'Enjambée Creusoise's 10th edition. Come discover Creuse's breathtaking countryside!  

5 different distances for hikers of all ages : 5, 10, 15, 25 and 45 km.

A local produce market will also take place as well as various exhibitions and old-fashioned trade demonstrations.

The "Gendarmes et Voleurs de Temps" (Cops and Time Robbers) Race takes places each year in Ambazac. Its dates for this year are 26th and 27th May.

For over 10 years now, the « Gendarmes et des voleurs de temps » race has been taking place in Ambazac, in a splendid environment  where lakes and forests abund.

Its main event is the 32 km race in which 3.000 runners participate. 

For the first time this year, a 65km race will also take place (participating in this race gives runners 2 points for the "UTMB" race).

The event is not exclusively for runners. Families can participate : a 10 km race is organized as well as 12 and 22 km hikes and children’s races (800m/2.000m). There’s also a « women's only » race : « les voleuses de temps ». The starting signal is given by mounted policemen, dressed in old fashioned attire.

While you're in the Ambazac area, discover its 6.000 hectares of forests and its majestic landscapes, visit its mineral museum or go for a hike or a horse-ride.
