Porcelain Pavilion - Haviland Museum

David Haviland was very fond of Limousin's "white gold". He started his business in 1842. It specialised in dinnerware and decorative porcelain, particularly in handmade gold incrustation. The Haviland manufacture is associated with the golden age of Limoges porcelain and is one of the last porcelain factories to confect and decorate each of their collections in Limoges, from A to Z. This explains why they were awarded the «Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant » (Live Heritage Business) award. The Porcelain Pavilion is a museum dedicated to the factory's history. It takes visitors on a journey to discover the tableware of kings, queens and presidents, as well as collections co-designed by famous ceramists and artists such as Bracquemond and Dali. It is also a factory outlet where visitors can buy current and former collections, as well as discontinued items.

Ouvert du lundi au samedi de 10h30 à 13h et de 14h à 18h30 - en juillet et août : de 10h30 à 18h30. Visite libre.
