Meymac Contemporary Art centre

An abbey on the outside, a contemporary art exhibition on the inside, a harmonious ensemble and a pleasure for the eyes.

This art centre was created in 1979, thanks to Caroline Bissière and Jean-Paul Blanchet, two avid contemporary art lovers, convinced that culture has its place in rural areas. The Saint-André Abbey was a perfect spot for such an art centre and the town of Meymac was pleased to be able to develop its cultural potential.
